Subsidised Production Residency for Emerging Practitioners

(Note: an earlier version of this post stated the wrong residency fee. It has since been updated. We apologise for any confusion.)

AGALAB is pleased to offer two short-term production residencies for emerging artists, designers, and makers working across art, design, and interdisciplinary practices.

For a subsidised fee of €250, residents receive accommodation at AGALAB and full access to our shared DIY workspace and production facilities for 2.5 weeks, from 8 – 24 June. (Material costs are not included in the residency and should be covered by the artist.)

Open to individuals and duos, this residency is especially suited to practitioners looking to develop or spend focused time experimenting with materials and processes for an existing project.

As part of the residency, participants will present work alongside their fellow June residents in an exhibition at BOUW Project Space on 23 June and contribute three prints to the AGALAB archive. These works will support fundraising efforts for our 2027 public programme.

To apply, email info@agalab.nl by 3 June, Wednesday, 10:00 with:

— A concise proposal (max. 200 words)
— A portfolio (website link or PDF, max. 8 pages)
— A short statement of interest including your full name, address, and experience with printmaking and production processes

Applicants will be notified by 4 June, 12:00.

Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
