Intimate Dialogues with Colours (live) at De Bouwput | exhibition
We would like to thank all the beautiful people who joined our expo. We received and exchanged so much good energy in only three days.
“Intimate dialogues with colours” (live) became a space where you can look, listen and smell colours, it’s alive.
What is happening before, during and after we extract colours from plants?
All these moments can become dialogues between: soil, light, seeds, plants, humans and organic chemistry.
The artists Naan Rijks, Peim van der Sloot, Mark van Wageningen and Lucila Kenny have been following processes and experimenting, in their own ways, with the intention of creating a special relationship with the natural world. When we look at the work we can sense that this is happening.
The soundscape was composed by Reinout Verbeek, processing sounds that were recorded in our studio while making colours. (will soon upload to soundcloud)
Barbara Collé brought it together.
De Bouwput is just a magical cube where anything can happen.
Thank you all!
