This week she reached this respectable age. Biologist and artist Naan Rijks initiated in 2011 the project Painting Plants. A research project she works on togehter with Lucila Kenny and is focused on making paints and inks out of plants and how to make these suitable for different printing techniques.
Currently, more than 30 species of plants are being cultivated, all containing either dyes or pigments. The project is executed inside the AGA LAB.
