Knust@AGA LAB – Saturday 9th of December from 16h
On the 9th of december from 16:00 – 20:00 you are very welcome to attend an afternoon of book presentations, music and live printing: the newest Art Prison publication by Zoran Pungerčar will be presented; Astrid Florentinus newest book “Sphere” will be released; Zedz will present his work and there will be a performance by Neonagin.
Art Prison presents Zoran Pungerčar
Zoran (Slovenia) is a graphic designer who monthly airs a radio show called “Dimni Signali” (smoke signals). In his book he made a selection of places that have caught or have been set on fire. These past events loosely relate to his radio program. Art Prison is a series of book residencies that take place at Knust press in Nijmegen.
Sphere by Astrid Florentinus
Astrid (the Netherlands) is an illustrator, artist and printmaker. She is well known for her delicate illustrative work and collaborating with Knust press in developing projects. Today her newest booklet “Sphere” will be released!
Presentation AGA LAB AIR:
Zedz (the Netherlands) is a recurring artist for the residency program of AGA LAB and will be using the workspace to prepare a book that will be shown later this year at his solo exhibition at Mini galerie. During this event he will be giving a small “show and tell” presentation of his current work.
Neoangin (Jim Avignon) is a Berlin based performance artist, musician, painter and one of the most unusual figures in the contemporary German cultural scene. His last album “highway to hello“ is a conceptual piece about the parallel universe that is the internet, the album is produced by Chris Imler. Under his moniker Neoangin, Avignon hits the stage with clever lyrics, defiant beats, an overall DIY charm and a vibe of melancholic happiness, mixing very danceable electronic pop with Dada, masks and backdrops to deliver a break-neck stage show.
Some food and drinks will be present and if we are lucky we’ll have a small bonfire.
entrance is free!
