In 1958 (60 years ago) the AGA LAB was founded as an artist initiative, the former Amsterdams Grafisch Atelier. During sixty years the studio has been able to develop and rejuvenate itself.
To celebrate this we call on all artists who have worked or are still working at AGA LAB to make an artwork for a wall-covering piece of art:
– paper format: choice of A4, A3, A2 (beware: we will not be able to accept other formats)
– unframed: the work will be exhibited unframed on a public spot at AGA LAB
– new work: made in 2017 or 2018
– material and print technique: free
– all works will be part of a wall covering artwork
– insurance: the work will not be insured during the exhibition
– entry: as soon as possible via agalab60@gmail.com
– delivering work: deadline is set at 1 September 2018
– dates for the exhibition and the deadline for picking up the work have yet to be decided
