Would you like to know everything about screen printing, analog photography, or classic printing techniques such as etching and lino? During your internship at AGA LAB you will assist in the studio and learn all about printmaking. You will find yourself in an international environment, where you work together with visual artists, designers and photographers from The Netherlands and abroad.
You will assist with workshops for MBO and HBO students who visit us, such as from the Hout- en Meubilering college, Artemis and the Gerrit Rietveld Academy.
You will also help in setting up exhibitions of our Artists in Residence, and with projects for communication and our social media. There is room to develop your own project and to experiment with graphic techniques, or to deepen your knowledge of a technique of your choice.
Every semester we take on two interns from The Netherlands and abroad who can help us in the studio. Your main task is to assist the technical supervisor(s) and artists. In addition to a passion for graphic arts and printing techniques, we expect you to be collegial and customer oriented, to be able to take initiative and work independently.
We are currently accepting applications for a five-month internship period, from February to June 2025.
Excited? Send your motivation letter and CV with portfolio to educatie@agalab.nl before December 1.
International interns can benefit from a grant through the ERASMUS programme.
MBO students who are studying graphic design through their school can see the school credit available through Stagemarkt.
