Go and see: Cromoforo exhibition at De Apotheek

In the exhibition Cromoforo four artists play with the use of colour, material characteristics and the layered skin of the picture plane. Astonishing screen printing skills, vibrant tactile artwork and even dinosaurs.

THURSDAY, FRIDAY  & SATURDAY  14:00-18:00

About the Exhibition Cromoforo:
Cromoforo is a cell that produces colour ranging from yellow, white, black and blue to iridescent and reflective. Cromoforo cells are found in the skin of amphibians, fish, reptiles, crustaceans, and cephalopods. The ability to change colour is often triggered by stress or change of mood, temperature or environment. Pigments translocate and reflective planes reorientate themselves as a form of camouflage.

And it’s just across the Water (het IJ). Highly recommended.
